The origins of snail cream
The active ingredient "snail mucin (glycosaminoglycan)" was discovered in snail mucus in Burgundy, France.
The dermis layer of the skin is made up of a mesh-like web of collagen and elastin, with glycosaminoglycans filling the spaces between them.
